| Notes | - Map of the Cherokee Nation at the end of the French and Indian War. It was fought primarily in the southern colonies which included South Carolina, Georgia, western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. The war was fought primarily by the British and French to win allegiance of the native tribes of the interior.
- The map was published in February, 1760 in the London Magazine.
- "Engrav'd from an Indian draught by T. Kitchin".
- The draft may have been prepared at the planning stages of the Lyttelton Expedition launched by the governor of South Carolina against the Cherokee in 1759 as a result of hostilities between British and Cherokee leaders which resulted in the Anglo-Cherokee War of 1758-1761.
